I will always begin a course with an analysis of my learner’s current goals, skills and abilities.
It is paramount that we work together to fulfill your learning needs, therefore I must have a clear understanding of what you already have achieved in English so as to not waste your time and energy by teaching you what you already know. I will specialize a course dependent upon the individual learner's language goals, current level of understanding and learning style. A syllabus will be designed to achieve your goals and your progress will be reviewed regularly and the course adjusted, if need be, to attain those goals. I prefer to utilize a mixed media approach to my lesson plans, I will use materials from a course book but also include a plethora of materials that are relevant to your daily use of the English language.
