I studied education in France and left for The United States of America for teaching in a french immersion school. It was an american school with the American curriculum but the lessons were taught in french. During this period, I observed the links between the english and french language, how an english speaker undertstands and learns french, and where the limitations lie given their native langage influence.
After one full school year, I relocated to Kenya where I am currently a class teacher in a French scool named "French school of Runda". I'm the teacher of a CE2 (8-9years old) classes and CM1/CM2 (9-11 years old) when the head teacher isn't in class. I'm also the teacher of the UPE2A classes. It's the class for kids who are not french speacker and need some helps with the langage.
Let me know your expectations, goals and why you want to learn french as I can target this most precisely in the class. We will work together between the learner and the teacher and moving based on your needs.
