I currently have my working visa in Spain as a freelance English teacher which I obtained in March 2019. This school year, I decided to give private classes and some conversational classes in a public High School in Salamanca. My students are of diverse ages (6- 44 years old) with different English levels (A1-C2). I started my teaching journey as a Spanish teacher at Temple Hill International School back in 2014. It was then I realized how satisfying it was to be able to impart the knowledge I had with other people. In October 2015, I began working with the Spanish Government as a language assistant in public schools- in Cadiz ; in Granada then; in Salamanca
I have been working with kids, teenagers, and adults since I arrived in Spain in 2015. Back then, I only had my student visa so I was just focused on converting it to a working visa. After getting it successfully converted, I decided to take a 120-hour online TEFL course in October 2019 and will have my practice teaching completed by August 2020 in Poland. Furthermore, I have worked with some of my students who want to take the Cambridge exams from levels A1-C2.
As a language student, I am aware of the possible difficulties a learner could encounter in learning a foreign language which gives me the advantage of being able to cater more ways to facilitate the learning process.
In addition, I am a very hard-working person and responsible person as my professor and colleagues can positively attest. I have the balance of fun and authority needed to make a classroom work efficiently in a way that a good rapport and respect are both present. Moreover, I am full of ideas and activities that can be done for every topic as I have been actively engaging myself in observing other classes, as well as taking online classes as I mentioned above.
