My goal is to help you to achieve your goals! The aim of our first lesson together will be to determine your level of the language which you are learning, whether that be French, German or Spanish. It is very important for me to adapt my classes to the needs of each of my students, and as such this first lesson will allow me to create a teaching plan for you which will be relevant to both your level as well as your objectives. Whether you would like to improve your reading comprehension, your understanding of grammar, or perhaps just brush up on your conversational skills, I am certain that I will be able to assist you. Having spent many years learning languages myself, I am very much aware of effective techniques for language learning, and believe in a practical approach to teaching, so as to get my students speaking their new language from the very first lesson, and as such boosting their confidence, which I believe to be an extremely important part of becoming fluent in any foreign language. Grammar is of course also at the core of any language learner's curriculum, and over the years I have refined my techniques so as to make this area less of a daunting experience, and more of an interesting and enjoyable journey towards language proficiency! I have experience of teaching students of all ages and of all levels, so am able to provide lessons to children of primary school age, secondary school students studying towards their GCSEs or A-Levels, and also those studying towards a degree in languages, as well as adult learners of all levels.
