I recently worked on research projects related to ocean waste detection, active fire detection and precision agriculture using hyperspectral and multispectral images. Waste detection project aims to detect and characterize plastic litter as ocean waste on-site in near-real time via machine learning solutions. I was previously working on a research project studying the utility of deep learning for multi-modal data fusion (hyperspectral and multispectral satellite images) for ocean color extraction and environmental applications.
My research interests include Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning (DL), image analysis and computer vision, hyperspectral and multispectral image analysis, and challenging contexts. He has published several refereed journals and conference articles in these areas. His current research interests include frugal learning, machine/deep learning, optimization, computer vision, hyperspectral and multispectral image analysis, 3D hand recognition, human-machine interactions, completion images of time series, time-series data analysis and their applications in remote sensing, medical and industrial contexts.
Constantly willing to explore and contribute to challenging research projects in Frugal Learning, Machine/Deep learning, Computer Vision, Hyperspectral and Multispectral Image Analysis.
