Had Teresa as a teacher and her teaching was absolutely spot on. The teaching itself was also varied and different, making every lesson interesting in its own way. Sometimes we had conversation exercises, sometimes we would watch a video with questions every now and then about the content and some other times we would have a writing session with a prompt! I got a 7 in spanish ab initio in the IB curriculum (where 7 is the maximum!) thanks to her!

I very much enjoy lessons with Teresa. ?? Not only does she teach the language, but she also tells us students all about her country and its culture and way of life. I am learning Spanish because I would love to go to Spain on holiday and it would be great to be able to talk with the people there in Spanish. I can’t wait to visit her city, Granada and discover the Alhambra, taste the fantastic food and soak in the atmosphere!

A few years ago I did two intensive language camps in Spain and then I lived in Cuba for a couple of years. So all in all, my Spanish was good and I considered myself fluent. Yet, I had picked up some bad habits - recurrent mistakes when speaking - and there were certain things that I never managed to learn properly (prepositions, for example.) Since at that point I needed Spanish for work, I decided to polish it with online classes. I stumbled across Teresa's site by accident, and after seeing her qualifications I requested a chat to discuss my requirements. I am so glad that I did it! After a few lessons I could already feel the difference, by which I mean that I had cleared a lot of doubts and felt so much more confident when speaking. She would point out my mistakes and find ways to make me remember the correct way of expressing myself. Teresa is a fantastic teacher, both knowledgeable about the language itself and the best methods to teach it.
