My name is Magdalena, I am 46 year´s old. I finished the Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts, department of Film History and Theory, in Bratislava, Slovakia.

I have 17 year´s experiences in working for two biggest film festivals in Slovakia (International Film Festival Bratislava – www.iffbratislava.sk and Art Film Fest – www.artfilmfest.sk) as a programme and shipping coordinator. My main job was to search and clean the screening rights, do the negotiation with the world sales to obtain the best screening fee, preparing the programme and the catalogue, and the print traffic coordination. During the festivals, I did the introductions of the films to Slovak audience and QaA with the guests.

I was also one of the members of programme team at the both festivals. In 2006 I was preparing the programme section „The Other Balkan“ at IFF Bratislava. From 2008 till 2021 I was the programmer of „The International Competition of Short Films“ at Art Film Fest.

15 years I was attending the Berlinale and Cannes Film Festival.
