Hi, I'm Angelique! I help IT Professionals (data analysts/engineers/scientists, business intelligence analysts, QA developers, team leads, etc.) to improve their English in this industry. All of my lessons are customized depending on students’ needs’. Mostly I focus on speaking skills, but I also help with written and general communication skills.
During my lessons, I rely on listening exercises such as gap-fills and puzzles, as well as role-playing, presentations, and discussions. There is some grammar instruction and an initial assessment with periodic follow-ups.
A bit more about my experience: I have been teaching since 2008 and I am extremely passionate about my job, I love sharing my knowledge as well as learn from my students! I have taught children and adults from all over the world (North and South America, Europe, Asia, and Africa). Additionally, I have lived in 4 different countries so I adapt my teaching style to different cultures which makes it more successful.
My specialization in teaching English in IT comes from my personal passion about IT. I have studied web development, am studying data science now, and have worked in the tech industry in Quality Assurance, so I understand firsthand a lot of the challenges IT professionals experience.
